I am a part of the the _ambi collective where we showcase and sell our field recordings. It is still under construction.
Field Recording for me has always been a passion. It did not only serve as a procedure for the sound design of certain productions, but also as a personal “refuge”. Field recordings require a small or big trip (depends on what one wants to record), technical preparation, a lot of mics, and of course to find the perfect location and time. A field recordist always wears headphones to control the recording, so this is a whole new experience of how the world is heard and perceived. It serves also as meditation. And many Instagram pictures!
I mainly record for surround mixing but depending on the project I use other techniques too. You can contact me if you want something specific that your production needs to be recorded.
